Advanced Open Water Diver Course
At depth the critters may behave different. At night they might come out for longer. In current there are often more critters. There are several types of diving that require different safety precautions and diving techniques than what you may have learned in the Open Water Course. The PADI Advanced Open Water Certification course allows you to choose 5 different styles of diving to practice and learn with a professional (must include deep diving and underwater navigation).
Vikes Recreation Member: $329 includes GST
Non-Vikes Recreation Member (non-UVic Student Price): $379 includes GST
All Prices include all basic equipment.
(does not include a light and knife - see the "Equipment Section" for information on this requirement)
Please note that all training includes the use of a drysuit. If you do not have previous experience, we recommend a drysuit orientation. If this is not possible, please contact the Scuba Program Coordinator for information on using a wetsuit for the course.
